Medicine Man Custom Drums' 2008 Student Drummer of the Year award was presented May 23 to Braden Campbell. Medicine Man Drums is pleased to celebrate Braden's dedication to becoming an excellent drummer by giving him a 4 x 14 10 ply maple snare drum in a high gloss cherry red finish.

Medicine Man Drums introduces new Artist Relations Manager: Josh Burris

I would like to take just a minute or two of your time to get aquainted with you. My name is Josh Burris--a current Medicineman Drum Artist, endorser of Audix Microphones, and Attack Drum Heads. I am proud say not only am I an artist, but have been blessed with the honor and opportunity of being the Artist Relations Manager of Medicineman Drums.

I wanted to take some time to share a little bit of myself with you . I hail from Knoxville, TN, and have been playing the drums sense the age of 3. I grew up playing drums in church, like most drummers, and there I developed my talent. Fast-fowarding to today--If I'm not playing for my church, I'm doing studio sessions for record labels, live session work, touring, clinics (somewhere in there I spend time with my family, eat, & sleep...LOL).

I would also like to add, besides God and family, I am very passionate about drumming and Medicineman Drums. So, in the future, and even now, I hope to earn your trust and respect. I will do the same in return. I'm very thrilled to have the chance to work with you, the artist, and Medicine Man Drums.

Last, but not least, I would like to add that I am a team player, and I love to work with other drummers/artists. We're in this together--the "drum brotherhood"--as I like to phrase it. so if you have any suggestions, comments, or ideas feel free to conact me or Dana. Tucker Marshall

Tucker is Medicine Man's first recipient of the Medicine Man Custom Drums program for local student drummers "Student Drummer of the Year" which began in 2006. Tucker is a Tri Valley Local School District student who embodies the diligence and chops needed to become a professional drummer. We are very proud of our local talent and want to encourage students to continue with their drumming endeavors.
